First Bus have revealed the withdrawal of the no. 47 bus service that connects Tingley, East Ardsley and Thorpe with Leeds and Morley from April 2nd.

Local Lib Dem campaigner Tom Leadley has set up a petition so local residents can make their voice heard.

Tom said: "First Bus are taking our buses and putting them on routes they think will make them more money. I am asking Mayor Brabin to intervene and use her £35million Bus Service Improvement Fund to get our buses back."
