East Leeds children's centre to get a six figure facelift12.35.03pm GMT Tue 11th Sep 2007
The Doreen Hamilton Early Years Centre in Osmondthorpe is set for a £120k refurbishment. As part of the works the caretaker's house at Richmond Hill Victoria Primary School will also be modernised to provide a base for outreach work and community usage Local councillor Ralph Pryke has welcomed the investment. Cllr Ralph Pryke (Lib Dem, Burmantofts & Richmond Hill) said, "A newly improved children's centre is terrific news for Osmondthorpe and East End Park. Councillor Pryke added, "When completed the facilities on offer will be second to none. This is a huge boost for both local children and their parents."
