Councillor's Delight at Ofsted Success for Victoria Primary

5.33.00pm GMT Fri 6th Oct 2006

A report to Leeds City Council's Executive Board next Wednesday (18th October) will show that Victoria Primary School has been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted Inspectors. Local Lib Dem Councillor Richard Brett says that this reflects the hard work of pupils, staff and governors often under difficult circumstances.

Cllr Brett (Liberal Democrat, Burmantofts and Richmond Hill) said "I'm pleased for everyone involved with Victoria Primary that its been given a good Ofsted rating. The school has a good caring atmosphere and overcomes the problems caused by a small constricted site. Well done to the staff, governors, and in particular the pupils."
